For a long time I was a Warband player using all kinds of mods (but especially Diplomacy Reloaded mod) Bannerlord catches my eye, especially since it's been a long developing myth until it's actually released years back. If you are having a hard time clearing bandit hideouts in the early game, you can choose this perk to help you and switch back to Horde Leader later on when you have better combat skills. For someone who has never played M&B, I'd suggest putting Bannerlord on your wishlist, buy Warband to get a feel for the franchise, then buy Bannerlord in like 2-3 months. If you are looking for a massively polished and robust game this might not be it, but if you are looking for an evolution of the Mount and Blade concept then Bannerlord is for sure worth it. One of the bonuses of attacking a rebel city is that you don't have to worry about a 1200-man army showing up to scare you off. You can buy up a bunch of grain and then just park a siege in front of the gate. You can starve the garrison out without losing a single soldier, though it might take a couple weeks. Rating Summary.
