Yes both the cruise control and retarder are functionable its ETS2/ATS. In order for the retarader to work, you must have a gearbox with retarder. You can try and reassign the buttons to control retarder and cruise-control in settings. I have a G920, and have assigned the ABXY buttons Default key to reduce the Retarder is ' (apostrophe). Hit that key three times to be sure it's all the way off, then try using CC again. I personally always put it in automat, but I'd say I use it manually more often. 2. Thought it might be a modded one, but seems not. If on automatic, well, as Nono54Fr says, check you don't have the retarder on (game should warn you about that, though). The truck doesn't matter. ANY truck in the game will go faster than that with any load. Each truck has 2 braking modes, one is the classic air brake (the one you naturally use with the down arrow key), the other is the retarder. Since using air brake reduces the amount of air (once is finished, you have to stop the truck, put the neutral and accelerate in order to refill it), the retarder lets you brake without any matters. rmh0JbX.
